Strife/ CSD Conference Collaboration
Strife is launching a special edition — and we want your work in it.
We’ve partnered with the CSD Conference 2026 to produce a special issue exploring one of the defining questions of our moment:
The End of the Age of Intervention? Peace and Conflict in a Post-Aid World
This edition will be showcased at the conference, putting your work in front of an audience of leading academics, practitioners, and policymakers. We are so excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to see what you submit!
How to submit ?
The deadline is 27 March 2026 at 5:00 PM London time. Send your submission to strifemagazineuk@gmail.com. Full submission guidelines can be found here under ‘Special Edition Submission Information‘.
A special opportunity for King’s MA students
If you’re a King’s MA student, every submission is considered for the feature article of this special edition. Selected authors will have the chance to present and speak about their piece at the conference — a rare opportunity to get your research in front of a professional audience.
About the conference
The CSD Conference 2026 brings together professionals, researchers, and students from across the fields of peace and conflict studies, international development, and humanitarian affairs. This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Jillian Popkins, Chief Commissioner of the Independent Commission for Aid Impact, and the programme includes panels, networking, and the chance to connect with peers and practitioners alike.
